Canada Post has begun the process of safely ramping up and stabilizing operations across the country. With a large, integrated network of processing plants, depots and post offices, stabilizing operations will take time and the company asks Canadians for their patience.

Canadians should expect delivery delays through the remainder of 2024 and into January 2025.

Canpar has issued a delay in service notification due to increased shipment volumes and inclement weather in some areas.

Petland ships orders Monday through Friday (excluding statutory holidays). We use Canada Post, Purolator & Canpar for delivery. "Free Shipping" will usually be sent through Canpar Ground service. Canpar Ground & Purolator Ground services do not have guaranteed delivery times and the shipping times will only be estimates.

Orders made online after at 11 AM CST on Fridays will ship the following business week. When considering delivery times after an order is placed, please allow 1-3 business days to process your order. Courier delivery times do not include the day the order has been picked up from our warehouse.

Orders that include "special order" items will not be shipped until the "special order" item arrives in our warehouse.

Please provide a street address if you choose "Free Shipping", Canpar or Purolator as your shipping method.

If you have a PO Box, Rural Range Road, Township Road or Site land location address, you must choose Canada Post as your shipping method.
If your address is an apartment or condo, please include the buzzer number.

Both Canpar and Purolator shipments will require a signature upon delivery unless you have requested the shipment to be left at your front door with "no signature required". ** If you do not make this request and are not home to receive your order, an attempted delivery notice will be left at your front door. The notice will indicate the depot where you can pick up your shipment.

**Please note that neither Petland nor the delivery service is liable for any lost or stolen packages if you have requested the shipment to be left at your front door.

Undeliverable packages:

Occasionally, we will have a package returned to us because it was undeliverable. When this occurs, we will issue a full refund for the price of the product plus taxes. Shipping charges are non-refundable. If your order had "Free Shipping" the shipping charges incurred by Petland for your order will be deducted from the total product refund amount.

We can receive packages as undeliverable for the following reasons:

Missing house number, unit number or buzzer number
Missing street name, City, or province
Incorrect Postal Code
Failed delivery attempts or the item was not picked up from the local depot within 5-10 business days.
Refused by the recipient.

Avoid

I have had cats almost all my 55 years, so I'm a very experienced pet parent. I bought this litter box at Petland Sunridge on June 30, 2024. I am new to Alberta, and my cousin suggested stopping here on our way home to Hanna, approximately a 2½ hour drive NE of Calgary. I did as I always do, and washed the box before using. It seemed to be almost greasy, but I thought my water was too soapy. I dried it then let it sit overnight as per my normal routine to ensure the box is completely dry before adding litter. After 24 hours, I put the litter in it along with your Cat Love Odor Defense Clumping Litter. Well what a disaster! A few hours later when I tried to scoop the box, the litter was completely stuck to it. I did my best to get all the soiled litter out, but it was stuck like glue to the bottom. I ran out and got a disposable litter pan and emptied this one where I practically had to chisel the litter off the bottom and sides. I soaked it again in hot soapy disinfectant and left it overnight. I dried it in the morning and let it sit until the next day, when I added new litter to it. Again, the litter stuck to the sides and bottom, requiring more effort on my part than absolutely necessary. I have kept using it because with just moving, and being on a disability pension, my funds are extremely low, so I have no choice. The twice daily chiseling is a bit much in this heat, but it must be done. The box has been completely emptied, cleaned and sanitized several more times, but it stinks, and it's getting harder to scoop each time. This has never happened to me before, and likely whatever was on the box in the beginning has contributed to the issue. I thought maybe the litter might be an issue as well, but upon changing litter to two different brands the issue remains. I definitely won't be getting another of this brand at the end of the month when my cheque comes in, that's for sure, and all I can say, is save your time and money, and give this product a pass. :confused:
