Subscription Program
Save time and money with automatic deliveries of your favourite products from Petland Canada! Select your products and then choose the replenishment schedule. To update your subscriptions, simply log into your account to change, pause, or cancel your items.
The Subscription program is governed by these Terms & Conditions (these “Subscription Order Terms”), as well as the Petland Canada Terms of Use (the “Terms of Use”) and the Petland Canada Privacy Policy (the “Privacy Policy”), all of which (as changed over time) are incorporated into these Subscription Order Terms, and constitute your entire agreement with Petland Canada relating to the Subscription Order Program. In the case of any discrepancy, these Terms and Conditions take precedence.
By enrolling in or continuing to use the Subscription program, you accept these Terms & Conditions and expressly agree to be bound by and abide by these Terms & Conditions, the Terms and Conditions of Purchase, the Terms of Use and the Privacy Policy. If any of these terms are not acceptable to you, you may stop using the Subscription program at any time.
Enrolling in the Subscription Program
The Subscription Program is open to residents of Canada who are purchasing pet products for their individual, household and non-commercial purposes.
To enroll online, select the Subscription checkbox on the product page of the Subscription-eligible items. Subscription is only available for select items. You must choose an order frequency for the item from the available options in the menu. You can proceed to checkout without making an online account. However, to manage your subscription, you will need to create an account on Petland Canada.ca.
Subscription orders can be placed for shipment directly to the shipping address provided in the subscription. Once you complete your checkout, an order will be created immediately for all items to be shipped to the address entered in checkout.
Future orders will be automatically created for shipment to the same address at the frequency selected, for the items you have chosen for Subscription. The chosen frequency will be used to determine the dates in which your future orders will be placed and are not meant to represent the dates in which they will be delivered. Delivery dates of your orders are subject to our shipping policy.
Orders will continue to be placed automatically at the selected quantity and frequency, and your payment method charged, until you modify or cancel your Subscription enrolment in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
Notifications
After placing a new Subscription order, you will receive an order confirmation email with the details of your new order. Create an account on Petland Canada.ca to see the details of your Subscription enrollment for all items that you have selected for Subscription. Once you create your account, you will receive an email to activate the account. After the account has been activated, you can login to your account to change your next order date, skip an order, change your selected frequency, change your payment method, or cancel your enrollment in accordance with these Terms and Conditions.
You will receive an email reminder 5 days before your next order. You will also receive a shipping confirmation email once an order is shipped.
You will also receive email notifications regarding other information related to your Subscription enrollment, such as, if an item is out of stock, if your credit card information is expired, or if you cancel your enrollment.
Item Availability
Only select items are eligible for the Subscription program. Eligible products have a Subscription option visible on the product page and in the shopping cart when shopping online.
Fulfillment of Subscription orders are dependent on item availability. If one or more items in an upcoming Subscription order is out of stock, we will send you an email to let you know. Any remaining items in your order that are in stock will be fulfilled. An order with out-of-stock items will remain open as we continue to fulfil the order for up to 30 days. If the item does not become available within 30 days, or before your next Subscription order for that item, we will cancel the order.
Promo Codes and Coupons
Promo codes and promotions (i.e. buy one, get one or get 15%) cannot be used towards upcoming scheduled Subscription orders. You can skip an order in accordance with these Terms and Conditions in order to take advantage of an online or in-store promotion.
Subscription Savings
The initial subscription order for dry dog food and dry cat food is 10-20% off. The upcoming subscription dry dog food and dry cat food orders will have 5-10% off.
All other pet supplies will have discounts of 5-10% off the initial subscription order and the upcoming orders may or may not have a discount. Subscription order discounts will be stated on the product page when you choose the subscription option.
Making Changes to a Subscription Order or Your Subscription Enrollment
Your Subscription enrolment and upcoming orders can be managed in your account settings. You can change your next order date, skip an order, change your selected frequency, change your payment method, or cancel your enrolment in accordance with these Terms and Conditions by visiting the Subscription section in your account.
In order to be effective, changes to an upcoming order (such as skipping or changing the date of your order) must be made at least 24 hours before the scheduled order date. For all other modifications, please allow up to 24 hours for them to be processed.
If you are not satisfied with your Subscription purchase, you may request a refund in accordance with our shipping and returns policy.
Pricing and Charges to your Payment Method
All Subscription orders require a credit or debit card payment. Alternative payment forms, such as PayPal, Shop Pay, Apple Pay, are also accepted at this time. We reserve the right to change the payment methods we are able to accept at any time.
By signing up for an Subscription order, you authorize us to charge you for your initial order and for the recurring periodic charges for an indefinite period of time thereafter until your Subscription enrollment is terminated in accordance with these Terms and Conditions. The periodic charges for your Subscription orders will be based upon the applicable prices quoted on the Petland Canada.ca website from time to time, except in cases of obvious error.
Prices of items in the Subscription program are subject to change. Also, discounts specific to subscription orders are subject to change. Petland Canada cannot guarantee certain prices for Subscription orders. The amount you will be charged for items in your Subscription order will be the price as stated in your reminder email 5 days prior to the scheduled order date. On your Subscription order’s placement date, your payment method will be authorized. The total amount you will be charged for your Subscription orders will be the price of the items, less any applicable discounts or promotions, plus any applicable shipping charges and sales tax.

Changes to these Terms & Conditions
Petland Canada may, at any time, in its sole discretion, change all or any of these Terms & Conditions without any prior notice except to the extent required by applicable law.
Your participation in the Subscription program is personal to you, and you may not assign or transfer your enrollment or any of the benefits to any third party without our prior authorization. Petland Canada reserves the right to terminate or suspend your access to the Subscription program at any time without notice and for any reason whatsoever, including if you violate these Terms and Conditions.
